If you want to use it on 12vdc you will need supply your own car to 110vac converter. you can buy them at most large chain retail stores. If you buy cheap ones online for under 15 dollars they sometimes do not work well.
If you're going to use this outside you need to waterproof it with plexiglass or glass.
